Married Nicholas on June 16th, 2019.
How did you know your dress was "the one"?
“I had a gut feeling - I can often be indecisive, but when I know what is meant for me, I go for it. There was no doubt in my mind that this was my dream dress after I tried it on for the first time.”
The dress shopping experience
“As most of my close friends and family live on the east coast, I was only able to bring one of my best friends to dress shop with me. I'd always preferred lacier, more romantic dresses, and explored a few stores in the Bay Area. Ultimately, my experience at Kinsley James was one of a kind, as was the selection of dresses I tried on.”
The Bride’s advice
“A marriage is always more important than a wedding, but if you truly connect with something - whether it's a location, a dress, a particular theme, etc - follow your heart. You will look back and be glad you did.“
#INSPO
“I am Indian and my husband is Italian, so we ended up having two wedding ceremonies - an Indian ceremony in Pittsburgh, and a destination wedding in Riviera Maya, Mexico. As paradoxical as it sounds, I always knew I wanted to get married near the ocean at sunset, and was hoping to find the perfect harmony of romance, adventure, and serenity. “
“The wedding was a dream come true, but then again, so was marrying my husband. I ended up having two sprained ankles on our wedding day and couldn't wear the shoes I originally intended, but our first dance (which was choreographed) still went off without a hitch.”
congratulations raksha & nicholas!
