Married Curtis on September 6th, 2020.
The Bride
“Dress shopping was such a fun experience. I came into it with a completely blank slate, ready to find a dress that spoke to me. I wasn’t hyper focused on a specific designer, cut, or style, I just knew it would happen naturally.”
“I knew my dress was the one because every time I put it on (I think I tried it on like 3 or four times that first day) it seemed most like “me”. I also couldn’t help but smile and also randomly fist-pump multiple times...”
The Groom
The Wedding
“We originally planned a large wedding in Paso Robles, CA but 2020 had other plans. Long Beach has always been important to us, so it was fitting that we get married in a more intimate setting at the historic women’s club, the Ebell. We wanted to be unique, but still look back on pictures in 30 years and they be timeless! I’ve always admired people who had intimate weddings, but thought “that will never be us” because we wanted a big party so badly with all our friends. We’re thankful we didn’t postpone or wait another year. This was our time, we adapted and had a beautiful day.”
The Bride’s Advice
“Be. Flexible. Have a back up plan and then a plan C, D, and E! Also check in with yourself during the planning process and ask yourselves if you’re staying true to you both as a couple, or simply going with what “everyone else would like”!”
