We are SO excited to have all of our beautiful brides back in our Los Angeles and Walnut Creek stores!

We are taking many necessary steps to ensure your safety including practicing social distancing and diligently cleaning after each appointment.

We kindly ask that you bear with us during this time as we are a small business excited to open back up but will be limiting appointments in order to adhere to the Governor of California’s guidelines for retail stores.

Appointments

Please note that appointments are required and we are unable to accommodate walk-ins at this time. When you arrive, please call our store so we can let you know when to come to the front of our store to our designated waiting area outside. The appointments are staggered to avoid groups arriving at the same time. Each appointment is allotted 90 minutes from the start of the scheduled time. The number of brides seen each day is limited due to the new operating guidelines. Booking a return appointment may be limited at this time.


Our Safety Measures

Wellness Checks

Our staff and customers will not be permitted inside the building if they are experiencing virus-like symptoms or have a temperature of 100 degrees or higher. Employees and guests' temperatures will be taken upon their arrival with a touchless thermometer. If anyone in your party is experiencing virus-like symptoms we kindly ask you to reschedule your appointment.

Capacity

 We do have to limit the amount of guests in our stores. The number of guests is constantly changing, depending on the current guidelines from our government. Of course, you can take pictures and Facetime is encouraged. Typically we say the more the merrier but unfortunately, we can't right now. Sadly, no infants or children will be allowed at this time. Also no furry friends. We are still going to do our best to make this fun and memorable for everyone! 

Masks

Masks will be required for staff, brides, and guests at all times during the appointment. If you don’t have a mask, we are happy to provide you one prior to entering the store. 

Sanitize

Our staff members are required to wash their hands before and after each appointment. We kindly ask that guests sanitize their hands before entering Kinsley James. The sanitizer will be provided at our entrance and appointment stations.

Social Distance

In the practice of social distancing, a stylist will bring the gowns to your room for you prior to trying them on as our rack will be off-limits and not be available to be browsed through. All appointment stations are placed 6 feet apart. To help us, please stay at your station during the appointment. 

​Food & Drink

We will not be offering champagne (we know, we teared up a little on this decision too) in order to maintain a clean atmosphere and masks on the entire time. No outside food or drinks please. 

Cleaning

All surfaces will be cleaned and disinfected frequently throughout each day, and after each appointment.
